BLH Stop Drop™ Barricading under the Northern Lights at Statoil LNG Hammerfest

We are proud to announce that Statoil ASA is bringing dropped object prevention to the next level by installing BLH Stop Drop™ Barricading at Statoil LNG Hammerfest, Snøhvit.

 

In recent years, Hammerfest has become well known for Snøhvit, the northernmost LNG plant (Liquid Natural Gas) and the first natural gas development in the Barents Sea.

 

BLH Stop Drop™ barricading system was installed in selected areas on the plant. This is a milestone in the oil refinery industry and BLH-DOM Integrity Solutions are pleased to be working together with Statoil ASA on such a pilot project, in one of the toughest climates the oil and gas industry is operating within.
